Each day I sit back and wish,

I could hear you laugh as you argue about your latest dish,

I miss our walks when the stars were out and the moon was full,

We would talk as my jacket from the cold tighter around me every so often you would pull,

You never said much but you always knew how to calm my heart,

I will do my best to make you proud and I will always accomplish anything I start,

I never wonder if you are here,

I feel it in the wind as it whistles softly by me against my ear,

I hear your laughter in the sea,

And with that soothing sound I know you will always be loving and watching over me,

So even though you are with God and these words you will never read I need you to know with all of my heart,

I love you Uncle Ralph and we will always be connected as kindred spirits family and friends by the strings of our hearts!
